GUIDELINES
The prom will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at The Sutherland in Wake Forest, NC. Purchase of a prom ticket constitutes your agreement to abide by the following policies. READ THIS CAREFULLY.

To attend the Prom, you must be at least 14 years old and not older than 21 years old by May 1, 2015, AND a homeschooled student, a homeschool alumni, or a guest of a homeschooled student or alumni. A homeschooled student or alumni may purchase up to two tickets: one for you and one for your guest.

Tickets may be purchased from January 1, 2015 - April 15, 2015.

Tickets are all pre-sold – no tickets will be available at the door. Tickets are only sold on the website.

Tickets are $70 each from January 1 - January 31, $80 each from February 1 - March 14, and $90 each from March 15 - April 15. Included in the price are dinner, dancing, photo booth, candy bar, and access to all candid photos taken by a professional photographer from the night. Our photographer will also take formal portraits of Prom guest which will be available for purchase after the Prom.

All attendees ( students, alumni, and guests ) must submit a signed policy agreement with registration. Attendees or attendee’s parents will be expected to show identification at the door.

There will be no refunds given on ticket sales.
Section 1: Tickets

The prom is a formal occasion. Modest, appropriate prom wear should be worn.
Gentlemen: Suit; tuxedo; or dress slacks, buttoned-up shirt, tie and jacket. No jeans, no t-shirts.
Ladies: Modest formal wear; open backs should be no lower than natural waist; no plunging or low-cut necklines; no transparent or bare midriffs. Strapless dresses are acceptable. Dress must have an opaque skirt with hem no shorter than 2 inches above the knee.

Everyone must check in upon arrival. Attendees will be given a wrist band which must be worn at all times while on Sutherland property.

This is a chaperoned event. Attendees agree to respect the authority of all chaperones and adult supervisors.

Attendees will stay within the physical boundaries set for the event, and not leave the premises or venture into areas designated as off limits.

Dancing must remain clean and appropriate. Suggestive or dangerous dancing will not be permitted.

All attendees are required to read and sign the Prom Guidelines Agreement as part of the registration process, and are expected to abide by that agreement.

Once admitted to the prom, students will not be allowed to leave and re-enter. No student will be allowed to go to their car unless accompanied by a chaperone.

Absolutely no tobacco, alcohol, weapons, or drugs of any nature are permitted at the prom. Medical emergency devices, such as Epi pens and inhalers are allowed and should be noted on the registration form.

By allowing your teen to attend this event, parents agree to hold harmless Carolina Capital Homeschool Prom committee and volunteers, Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Association, The Suterland Estate & Gardens, and any of their agents or representatives, in the event of offense, accident or injury arising from participation in the Carolina Capital Homeschool Prom.

Parents providing transportation for attendees are responsible to arrive by the scheduled end time of 11:00 pm. Any attendee needing to leave early must make arrangements with the chaperones at the check-in table upon arrival, and provide written permission from a parent, including dismissal time and name of driver.

Mature and respectful behavior is expected. If a student is asked to leave the Prom by a chaperone or Sutherland employee, a parent will be called. No refund will be issued.
